September Christmas Card Challenge

Okay everyone I am going to give my first sketch posting a try. I was excited to make a Christmas card because now I am in the groove to be creative. I would love to see what everyone comes up with on my first IC Challenge. This challenge ends on September 30th and there is a prize for it. It is a collection of 12 sheets of 6x6 sized Christmas themed papers - from Basic Grey, Kaiser Crafts etc and some Christmas themed ribbon and buttons. So, please feel free to create some Christmas cards in September...

I used my scroll embossing folder which is a favorite of mine and then cut 1 3/4 inch circles with a SU punch. I then stamped Merry Christmas and added some ribbon. Had to dig in my scraps since I haven't bought any Christmas paper yet this year.

Beautiful Sketch and Card Tracie. I loved it. Now I can use all those small pieces of paper that I keep saving.

Deets on the Challenge

**Generic challenges (you can also do Holiday cards with these if you wish) will be posted on first Friday of the month.

**Christmas Cards Challenge will be hosted on the first Sunday of the Month. This is to enable you to create a bunch of Christmas cards in advance. So you can make multiple cards using these sketches.

**Scrapbook Page Sketch Challenges will be posted on First Saturday of the month.

**Anything but a card challenge will be posted on the last Saturday of the month.

** You are most welcome to participate in all of the challenges. You can either blog your project/card or upload to some online gallery like SCS or Papercraft Planet.

** Please leave a direct link to your card/project entry from your blog in the Mr.Linky Widget and not a link to your blog. If you are uploading to online galleries like papercraft planet or SCS, please use the provided keyword and leave a link to your image in the Mr.Linky Widget.
